This Policy Deployment course will show you:
1) Guides management in the process of creating a shared vision.
2) Helps management understand how current or new customers fit in that vision.
3) Focuses on the current, emerging, and strategic pressing needs of those customers.
4) Guides the company in the best use of its resources to meet those needs.
5) Ensures that company resources have the tools needed to turn the plan into reality.
You will understand Policy Deployment is a model to drive a strategic plan through the incorporation of the Voice of the Customer (VOC) throughout the organisation and in particular, to where the actual work is done. You will understand Policy Deployment:
i) Effectively drives progress and action at every level within your company
ii) Will understand the component parts of the Policy Deployment Pyramid
iii) Training outcomes
By the end of the course you will:
- Know what Policy Deployment is and why it's important
- Be able to describe the component parts of the Policy Deployment Pyramid
- Be able to allocate objectives within your business
- Know how to convert objectives into action plans
- Be able to describe techniques to communicate information and results
There are no requirements for this course other than a desire to learn.
This Policy Deployment course is accessed through a dedicated learner portal and you will be provided the easy to use login details. The course is divided into modules with a short quiz at the end of each to test your knowledge. Once you have progressed through each of the modules you can access a quiz which consists of multiple choice questions based on the material that you have studied.
Once you have passed the course you can download your course certificate in PDF from your learner area.
If you don't pass the course first time, don't worry, you can resit the test as many times as required.

Course duration
Approximately one to two hours. The length of time taken depends entirely on how quickly learners can study and absorb the material. Learners can proceed as quickly or slowly as they like.
Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course but completion of the Introduction to Continuous Improvement course will help learners new to CI/Lean thinking.
Test and certificate
The end of course test consists of 10 multiple choice questions. Learners are required to achieve a 80% pass mark, and, if necessary, may attempt the test three times at no extra cost.
If learners do not achieve the 80% pass mark, further attempts may be given by contacting our support team.
Learners will be able to download a digital certificate on completion. This can be printed, and we suggest you keep it for your records.
