My application for Vlerick was driven by the desire to grow fast and boost my career. My dream has always been to become a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and to make an impact. Hence, Vlerick is a small step in the right direction. I would advise any female to take the leap and apply for this Masters since the acquired skills will be of tremendous importance to move up the ladder in an organization. Furthermore, next to being a step closer to your dream job, this scholarship can give you that extra boost you might need. I chose to apply for the Women in Finance Scholarship as opposed to others offered at Vlerick, because it was specifically targeted for the Masters in Financial Management programme and also because I truly believe in promoting and supporting women in finance leadership roles, which are still greatly dominated by men. I believe we must focus on diversity and inclusion, bringing different opinions, experiences and backgrounds together in order to progress and further develop.

By studying in this university I got really good knowledge on my subjects such as Accounting. I'm satisfied with studying there. But the method of teaching of Managerial Economics was really bad and most of students had re-take 2 times. At the exam it was forbidden use calculator and that situation surprised me.

A magnificent program, which gives the possibility to understand how to implement sustainability in every business activity, from finance and accounting to marketing and operations. Compared to other programs where sustainability is a one-off topic, in this MBA is a recurring theme making it unique. Professors are all very knowledgeable and available. The highlight of the program aside from academics is the possibility to engage and network with professionals across the world coming from numerous sectors and to understand their point of view. The flexibility of the program makes it easy to manage working full time and continue to achieve high academic standards. Would highly recommend for those who want a deep understanding of how to be more sustainable across all business activities.

Really a great university with good vibes / community feel. There's a lot of opportunity to meet new people through clubs and societies. The union is really great in planning nightouts etc.The standard of lectures are good but some modules are better than others. The placements at Loughborough really sets it apart from other universities. Sports at loughborough is really commendable.
