Our philosophy is to provide current and potential creative arts educators with practical and useful knowledge, skills and an understanding of higher education teaching as a living practice and social activity with great responsibility.

We believe that creative arts education has a special place in society and that its practitioners require dedication, flexibility and a deep understanding of both art creation and creative learning to be effective teachers.

The focus is on bringing together practitioners from a range of disciplines and work settings to enable sharing, developing, learning and collaboration as tools to support good practice.

This is a 60 credit postgraduate certificate that runs as a part time standalone course or alongside a number of our full and part time Masters courses.
