Protection of Vulnerable Adults Awareness for Managers / POVA (1 day)

This course is open to all personnel and covers all areas of abuse.

Designed to help you recognise the signs and the steps to take should you suspect abuse occurring. An invaluable course for all those working within all Healthcare environments ensuring people the freedom to live a life free from abuse and will include a practical focus on actions that should be taken to minimise the risk of abuse in a care setting. The issue of zero-tolerance to abuse in all its forms is explored along with the need to identify and report actual or potential abuse and initiate formal investigation procedures.

Courses can be adapted to suit your needs and durations can be varied.
