This course has been designed and developed to give you the confidence to conduct powerful and memorable presentations. Whether these are formal presentations to the Board or other professionals, or informal talks to your team.
The course will cover how to structure the correct presentation, controlling an audience, making an impact from the start, voice projection, as well as effective use of visual aids and other presentation software.
On completion of the course you will feel more confident in your delivery techniques and how to give a powerful and memorable presentation.
This course is ideal for Sales personnel, Technical personnel and anyone else who wishes to improve their effectiveness in good presentation delivery.

About this course
This course is for anyone who is required to give presentations in the workplace and wishes to gain or improve their confidence in presenting. This can include Managers, Supervisory/Team Leaders, Sales, Technical Sales.
Delegates are encouraged to bring an example of a presentation or one that they are working on and to use this as a real/live example.

John holds a MA in Human Resource Development, is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management (FInstLM), Incorporated Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineering Technology (IEng MIET). He is a qualified Executive Coach and Leadership Mentor, and Member of the Association for Coaching (MAC), as well as a qualified Psychometric and Occupational Assessor. He has held senior management positions gained in Consultancy, SMEs and FTSE 100 companies, within a diverse array of industries.

* How to avoid poor presentations the good, the bad and the ugly
* Presentation models, styles and formats
* Voice projection techniques
* Using PowerPoint and other software - tips and techniques
* The use of visual aids, demonstrations and other presentation materials to enhance the presentation
* Communicating effectively with the audience and building rapport
* Controlling your environment
* Dealing with the hecklers, difficult people and awkward questions
[Day 1 consists of highly interactive and engaging exercises, and practical presentation demonstrations given by the delegates. Example presentation demonstrations will be video'd by the Facilitator with appropriate constructive feedback given.]
Day 2 - Conducting Powerful Presentations
* Structuring the presentation to the target audience (whether sales, technical, general)
* Delivering the presentation, factors to consider, tips and techniques (full practical demonstration by the delegates with 1-2-1 feedback)
* Closing tips and techniques to keep the audience engaged to the end and beyond!
* Review and Feedback - Tutor led
