This practical evening course in Financial Management is aimed at those interested in or already running their own small business who want to learn how to record and prepare business accounts that comply with accounting standards and HMRC requirements. Students learn the basics of financial management for the small business and look at the essential elements of finance, including book-keeping, cost analysis, VAT returns, sources of funding, taxation and cash flow forecasts.
