This programme is an ideal opportunity for young people who are motivated to work but lack the skills, experience and qualifications that employers are looking for. It will prepare Trainees to take the first step in their career, such as an Apprenticeship, by providing work training and English and Maths qualifications (delivered at the college), along with an invaluable work experience placement with an employer from an industry of the Trainee's choice. Please note that the work experience placement is unpaid, however employers are encouraged to support expenses such as transport and lunch. A means tested bursary is also available to cover the cost of buses to and from the college.
