Preparation for Chartered Membership Examination

Introduction

These courses are tailored to suit those candidates who are about to sit the Chartered Membership examination and are run in accordance with the Institution's examination preparation guidelines. The course concentrates on the general principles and techniques that candidates should find useful to successfully complete the examination. It will demonstrate essential examination techniques and use past examination questions for tutorial work and group discussion. Specific reference is not made to some of the more specialist engineering forms, such as offshore structures and seismic sensitive structures.

Candidates should note that the Institution provides CD-based examination guidance to all candidates taking the examination. This course offers the advantage of face-to-face delivery of the material and the opportunity to

discuss the issues with two current examiners
