The PED General Awareness Training is aimed at the manufacturers of pressure equipment, inspection agencies and testing companies, Quality Managers, Compliance Managers, inspectors of pressure vessels and assemblies, EPC contractors and Project Managers responsible for installation and commissioning of pressure equipment. About this course
The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) is an EU product directive that is mandatory since May 2002. The PED is a guideline for the design and manufacture of pressure equipment with maximum allowable pressure greater than 0.5 bar. Products covered include pressure vessels, heat exchangers, steam boilers, pipelines, pressure relief devices, valves, regulators, assemblies and other pressure-auxiliary equipment.
