To understand about healthy skin, identifying wounds and what causes them. To be able to define what a pressure sore is as well as types of leg ulcers. To learn how to inspect the skin for prevention purposes. To gain an awareness of different types of pressure relieving equipment. Suitable for: Care staff who have little previous understanding or knowledge of pressure area care.

Learning outcomes and objectives
