PRINCE2TM is considered the de facto standard for projects, both in the government and private sector. The course places great emphasis on business justification and has a product-based approach. Its applicability to a variety of projects is another major plus. PRINCE2TM helps you improve your project management skills and as a result your prospects of employment too.
Looking for hands-on experience on projects based on PRINCETM principles? Then, look no further. The PRINCE2TM Foundation course is the first of two steps you need to take to become a full-fledged PRINCETM practitioner. The Foundation course is designed to help you understand the principles and terminologies of PRINCE2TM. On completing this course successfully, you will be familiar with the intricacies of a project, such as input and output, the processes, the sub-processes, the components and essential techniques.
The PRINCE2TM Practitioner Course equips you to adapt the general PRINCE2TM principles to the project at hand. Once you complete the practitioner course, you will be able to understand and explain the processes, components and techniques of a project, and their interrelationship. There is a mock exam which lets you apply and test your newly acquired skills too.
Pre-requisites:
You are expected to study all the pre-read material provided by us, this will prepare you to pursue the course.
Recommended but not required some experience in working on projects. Also ideal to those in IT field and looking to move up the career ladder.
For practitioner, you must have passed the Foundation exam.

- Roles and associated tasks and responsibilities, within a PRINCE2TM project.
- Structure and contents of a product focused project plan.
- The management of a project relative to the project plan.
- Definition, management and acceptance of work packages.
- Relationship between the Business Case, programmes and the project.
- PRINCE2TM processes - Starting Up a Project, Initiating a Project, Directing a Project,
- Controlling a Stage, Managing Product Delivery, Managing Stage Boundaries, Closing a Project and Planning.
- PRINCE2TM Components - Organisation, Controls, Business Case, Quality, Risk,
- Configuration Management., Change Control and Plans.
- PRINCE2TM Techniques - Product Based Planning, Quality Review and Change Control Approach.
- Examination technique for the exam
Examinations:
- PRINCE2TM Foundation exam consist of 75 multiple choice questions. It is an hour long exam conducted at the end of third day (100% Pass Rate)
- PRINCE2TM Practitioner exam consist of Objective based questions. This is a three hours long exam conducted at the end of fifth day. (95% Pass Rate)
