The course will cover the content of the PRINCE2 2009 Practitioner syllabus and prepare delegates to take the Practitioner exam on the last afternoon of the course. The following modules are included: Tailoring PRINCE2. Controlled Start & Controlled Progress. Product Based Planning. Exam Preparation. Suitable for: Project managers wishing to build on their achievement in the PRINCE2 Foundation exam following further experience or a period of study. The course would be of benefit to those with project assurance roles, team managers, Project Board members who wish to be hands-on, and team members aspiring to a more senior role. A PRINCE2 Foundation pass is a prerequisite for attending this event.

PRINCE2 Practitioner Conversion
This course has been especially designed for delegates who already have a PRINCE2 Foundation pass based on the 2009 version of the guidance. The course will cover the content of the PRINCE2 2009 Practitioner syllabus and prepare delegates to take the Practitioner exam on the last afternoon of the course.

Joining instructions, including pre-course exercises, are sent out approximately 2 – 3 weeks before the course start date. Typically 4-6 hours will be required for pre-course preparation.

Location and Duration
AFA open courses are held at approximately monthly intervals at a range of locations across the UK. All venues have been chosen for their modern equipment and ease of access from major road, rail and air routes. Alternatively client events can be arranged either on-site or at a suitable venue nearby. A full open course schedule can be found at . This course typically takes place over two days, including the optional PRINCE2 Practitioner examination. However three days of training can be provided (both in-house and on open courses) for delegates seeking more time to reflect on the PRINCE2 methodology. Delegates should be aware that considerable evening preparation and consolidation will be required by those who wish to pass the exam.
