What is PRINCE2? PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured method for effective project management. It was launched in 1996, in response to user requirements for improved guidance on project management for all projects, not just information systems projects. Suitable for: A 5 day course aimed primarily at project managers, but of great value in many other roles, such as: Programme Management. Project Board (Project Steering Group). Project Support Office. Quality Assurance. Configuration Management. Risk Management. Delegates will gain a thorough grounding in the PRINCE2 method, and will apply the method to a given scenario, to ensure that they are able to use the method in practical situations.

Course programme

PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured method for effective project management. It was launched in 1996, in response to user requirements for improved guidance on project management for all projects, not just information systems projects.

The course includes both the Foundation and Practitioner examinations. The Foundation examination is a 1 hour multiple choice test. The Practitioner examination is a 2.5 hour open-book examination leading to the internationally recognised PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner qualification.
