Principles of Childcare introduces care workers to the fundamental principles and values that need to underpin their everyday practice as they work with children. A full explanation of each principle and value is provided, supported by insightful visual representations of how these would be identified in the childcare setting.

An accompanying CD-ROM contains a Training Pack, which includes a Lesson Plan, 7 group and/or individual exercises and discussions and 5 handouts. The CD-ROM also contains Question and Answer sheets a Trainer’s Guide and other supporting materials, all designed to help you prepare and run an effective training session.

Duration:

25 minute DVD/video in 13 sections to be used in a suggested half day training session.
