This course uses an analytical approach to problem solving and will demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of group decision-making. It will describe the different types of decision-making processes and develop creative and innovative approaches. It will also help delegates to develop a toolbox of techniques and overcome the barriers to effective implementation of solutions.

- Stating and restating the problem; ways to kill an idea; freewheeling; evaluation of ideas.
- How to screen each option; final selection to suit the problem; the decision.

- Presentation and implementation of the solution; planning, progress and communication of the findings; creating the climate for change.
