Problem solving is a skill you need to develop, whatever your role. This course provides a practical guide to problem solving, taking you through the following steps:
Problem Solving enables learners to
  • Defining the problem looks at what a problem is and how it can be identified
  • Gathering information looks at how to obtain information (measurable and quantifiable data and subjective and abstract considerations)
  • Decision making is where you can find out about some of the tools and techniques available to help you to solve problems
  • Presenting the solution looks at the decision to select a solution, how to communicate it and how to implement it
