Join our two-day pitching and packaging workshop to get the essential skills you need to pitch your project on the festival circuit to industry professionals.
Learn how to pitch, package and promote your fiction feature film projects from experienced industry professionals. Tailoring the sessions to suit your individual projects you will cover topics including: finance plans, director’s statements and supporting materials.
Pitching and Packaging will provide you with relevant practical skills and project-centred advice for presenting your projects to the film industry.
Producing: Pitching and Packaging is for producers, screenwriters and directors who are preparing fiction feature film projects.
Course Goals
Learn how to pitch and package your films effectively to industry standards
While on the course and for one month after you will receive complementary membership with LFA networking Filmmaker's Club.

All applicants must be fluent in English (English Language level: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent)

Day 1: Pitching
- How much time do you have? Who are you talking to? What is it that you need?
- Preparation. Research. Rehearse.
- Adjusting content accordingly.
- Who are you? What is your role on the project?
- Title and genre.
- Can you communicate your story / project?
- Comparables.
- Controlling the conversation with confidence and respect.
- Why do you want to tell this story? What you should say but also what you should remember (not necessarily the same thing)
- Project status and assets

Day 2: Pitching exercises and Packaging
- Synopsis and Treatment.
