Description:
Progression awards provide the knowledge and understanding required for related NVQs. Study includes preparing and quality controlling the welding operation, welding with gas, manual metal arc, tungsten inert gas shielded and metal inert gas shielded process, assembly and joining of fabrication materials, marking out planning control of fabricated and pipework assembly, hand cutting and shaping processes, forming of thin plate metal.
