This course is ideal if you want to work as a professional chef.
You will develop a wide range of high quality cooking skills which can be applied across a range of catering contexts. You will cover units such as health and safety, hot food preparation, cooking techniques, cold food preparation, stocks, soups and sauces, fruit and vegetables, meat and offal, poultry, fish and shellfish, rice, pasta, grains and egg dishes, desserts, puddings and bakery products. You will learn through:
- Practical sessions in the college's restaurants and kitchens
