About this course
A variety of assessment methods are used including group and individual presentations, written assignments, portfolios of work-based learning and an examination. Wherever possible assessment is reflective of practice in the workplace.
A pass foundation degree from Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln or Leicester University. Other foundation degrees will be considered by the academic coordinator.
English and Mathematics need to be achieved at GCSE grade C or above (or equivalents) including:

* GNVQs;

BA (Hons) Professional Studies in Education (non-QTS)
The programme is organised into one level, comprising six modules, to be completed in a minimum of one year and a maximum of four years, depending on the number of modules completed each year.

A variety of assessment methods are used including group and individual presentations, written assignments, portfolios of work-based learning and an examination. Wherever possible assessment is reflective of practice in the workplace.

Qualifications Required:
A pass foundation degree from Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln or Leicester University. Other foundation degrees will be considered by the academic coordinator.
English and Mathematics need to be achieved at GCSE grade C or above (or equivalents) including:
- NVQs;
- GNVQs;
- Access Programmes;
- Open College Network credits;
- High quality workplace experience.
Students are expected to be currently employed or volunteering in an educational setting and written support from employers will be required. At least two years experience is desirable.
