Aim:
This course develops as awareness of all aspects of children's behaviour, and an understanding of the candidate's role in managing children's behaviour.

Length of Study:
9 weeks.

Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements however it would be beneficial if the Candidtae held a Communication module and had basic competence in IT and the internet.

Contents:
Positive and Negative Behaviour in Relation to Young Children, Factors which May Influence Children's Behaviour, The Role of the Adult in a Framework for the Management of Children's Behaviour.

Study Method:
Internet-based self-study. This is an online programme with assistance and support being provided through the College virtual learning environment.

Assessment:
Online assessment to be completed at home.
