What is intelligence? Can we define and measure personality? How does the brain allow us to sense, perceive, think and feel? How does prejudice develop and how can it be overcome? Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes, and our BSc (Hons) Psychology programme covers every major branch of the discipline. You will study memory, emotion, language, thinking, sensation, perception, development, social interaction, brain function, health, mental illness and many other behaviours over the course of three years. As you would expect from Regent’s, our programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), the professional body for psychologists in the United Kingdom. We aim to provide smaller class sizes than other universities, along with access to expert staff and a commitment to applying theory to practice. If you do not yet meet the entry requirements for the BSc (Hons), we offer a four-year integrated Psychology degree. The first year of this degree provides you with a thorough grounding in the subject, enabling you to acquire valuable theoretical and practical experience at a measured pace, and to develop transferable skills that are important for higher education in general. On successful completion of the first year of the programme, you will then enroll onto the three-year accredited BSc (Hons) Psychology programme. Whatever your career plans, a psychology degree opens doors to wide range of careers. Our graduates go on to enjoy many diverse roles both within and outside of the discipline, and a range of professions and careers is open to you: from the creative industries, management, marketing and business to profession-specific careers in clinical, educational, counselling, health, occupational, and forensic psychology.   Register for an Open Day Why should I choose this programme?
