What stands out about this course?

Why do some people suffer from stress and mental illness? Why do some people fear snakes yet a few think they are cuddly? Psychology looks at questions like these in the study of the human mind and behaviour. It is a science with cutting edge research that has real world applications to issues in everyday life, ranging from things like artificial intelligence to social change. A Level Psychology will provide you with a sound understanding of the various methods and approaches within Psychology. The course develops your ability to interpret, evaluate and comment. You are encouraged to develop an in-depth knowledge of core topics and to demonstrate the ability to use scientific methodology in the context of Psychology. The skills gained in Psychology are transferable to further study, the workplace and everyday life.
