PTLLS (Preparing To Teach In The Lifelong Learning Sector)
Content The course provides an introduction to teaching and training and focuses on practical issues such as presentations and communication skills. It will aid you in developing your working role and give you an opportunity to reflect on your own practice, share ideas with others and have the support of an experienced tutor. Alternatively, we believe most tutors will wish to achieve the Diploma (DTLLS) which is required before you can achieve Full Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). This c an be studied at Tresham Institute on a two year part-time basis either in the evening or in the day. Progression From PTTLS you can progress to the Certificate (CTLLS) which qualifies you to be an Associate teacher. Alternatively, we believe most tutors will wish to achieve the Diploma (DTLLS) which enables you to achieve Full Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
