This is a practical, work-related course designed to meet the needs of students wishing to pursue a career in one of the Uniformed Public Services (the armed forces, police, fire service, ambulance service, prison Service, H.M Revenue and Customs, Border Agency and coastguard). You will take part in outdoor activities, carry out research projects and study situations that affect the public sector.
The course is for those who are active and who are willing to try new experiences; it provides excellent preparation for employment or higher education as you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of transferable skills such as teamwork and leadership through outdoor adventurous activities.
