About this course

Decide on material and interviews.
Record material and select clips.
Organise your programme or extended feature, adding in music and special effects.
Write and record your microphone links.
Edit and put the finishing touches on your piece.

If you have an audio recorder e.g. a Marantz or a smart phone that records sound, please bring it to the class.

Course programme

Writing for, reading and talking on air. Producing features and improving interview skills. Working up a radio pitch into a feature or programme. Editing the final package.

Practice in the studio, class tutorials and discussions. As part of the course content, your tutor may record your image for initial and ongoing assessment purposes. You are entitled to decline to participate in the recording of your image.
