The railway traffic light operator is the person responsible for the maneuvering and maintenance of traffic lights and the relative and specific use of signaling equipment along the railway station. The traffic light is a light signal used for road traffic at intersections mainly, but also for pedestrian crossings and in other contexts where it is necessary to manage potentially conflicting traffic flows. Historically, traffic lights are among the first light signals and are the most common today.
