This course is taught by renowned Lecturer and Therapist, Julia Williams, who
has recently relocated from London to Bridport in Dorset where she is now

The course is designed to give students, who are already qualified in
Reflexology, an overview of cancer and describe the numerous ways a
reflexologist can be of value to a cancer patient on physical, psychological and
emotional levels. It will give an understanding of palliative care and ways of
adapting treatments and how to give a lymphatic foot massage.
By the end of the course students should understand how to work safely and
effectively in a cancer and palliative care setting and be able to:
• describe what palliative care is
• recognise the benefits of reflexology
• work in accordance with published guidelines
• adapt techniques for cancer care
• use Reflexology safely, be aware of contraindications and cautions
• demonstrate adapting techniques
