Course programme
The aim of the course is to raise awareness of the RIDDOR Regulations and the procedures for reporting accidents to comply with RIDDOR. The delegate will also gain awareness of investigating accidents and why accidents should be investigated.
Course Objectives
The data resulting from an effective incident investigation can be used to design, risk control measures to prevent recurrence of that type of incident. However, the selection of appropriate risk control measures requires effective collection, collation and analysis of incident data.
As well as identifying and discussing the previous, the course will also introduce the responsibility of managers when accident reporting i.e. to the enforcement agency through the RIDDOR procedure
