Outline Content
This interactive day, led by two tutors who are primary care respiratory nurse specialists, is for healthcare professionals who have already undergone diploma or degree level training in asthma or COPD. The day will take a close look at how well we are doing locally and nationally with respiratory care, provide a refresher of the latest national and international asthma and COPD guidelines, which include the National Strategy for COPD and NICE 2010. There will also be the opportunity to examine care delivery for children with asthma. There are also case studies to help put valuable theory into essential practice.
