This 2 day course is designed for those who will have a responsibility within their organisation to assess and manage all aspects of Risk Assessment.
The course will explore the consequences of poor risk assessment and assist you to develop an action plan to address your risk assessment requirements.
It will assist and enable you to design safer systems or work for others to follow. Delegates will have the opportunity to use a wide range of Assessment tools

About this course

Gain basic presentation skills to be able to pass knowledge onto others in a learning environment
Devise and execute a plan of action for their place of work in order to be compliant
Apply risk assessment principles to prioritise decision making

This course is aimed at all Social Care Managers, Registered Managers, Registered Providers or Team Leaders with a hands on role and the ambition to influence change.
You should have volunteered for the training with the agreement and support of your Manager / registered provider.
Be familiar with the theoretical knowledge of the subject and the wider Social Care Sector

The course is delivered by a Risk Management Consultant with over twenty years knowledge of managing and advising in the Social Care Sector.
The trainer invites delegates to bring in existing Risk Assessment documentation to the sessions in order to evaluate their effectiveness.
There is practical elements to this course giving the delegates the opportunity to complete generic and specific Risk assessment documentation
On completion delegates will recieve risk assessment templates designed for Social Care Sector

The course is delivered by a Risk Management Consultant with over twenty years knowledge of managing and advising in the Social Care Sector.

This a two day interactive programme. It will run as two days (non-consecutive), with an expectation of independent work prior to day two.
The content of this programme will look at improving working enviroments, reducing risk from injury. It will examine a wide range of interventions that we complete in the Social care sector and will evaluate if you are meeting your legal and regulatory requirements.

The programme will include a high volume of group participation which may include individual and group activities. Delegates may find it useful to bring existing Risk assessment documentation with them.

Generic, specific and complex Risk assessments.
