The purpose of this training day is to: Familiarise all students with the requirements of health and safety legislation as it relates to risk assessment Give the students and understanding of the theory of risk assessment and the approaches to be made in the identification of hazards in the workplace Inform the students of the organisations policy on risk assessment and the guidance issued by the organisation Carry out a practical exercise where the students will undertake a risk assessment and record their findings To give the students the information and skills to be confident. Suitable for: Anyone who is required to carry out risk assessments as part of their job role, including care workers, lone workers, and those handling machinery & equipment
