This course prepares you for advanced rope access skills—rope to rope transfers and bypassing knots COURSE OUTLINE Day 1 - A look at the aims of rope access, equipment used and practical training in ascent/ descent. Day 2 - Looking at rope set ups and knot work Day 3 - More advanced rope access skills—rope to rope transfers and bypassing knots. Day 4 - Roof edge deployment and rope rescue training Day 5 - Assessment of skills and knowledge by an external assessor. COURSE OUTLINE
Day 1 - A look at the aims of rope access, equipment used and practical training in ascent/ descent.
Day 2 - Looking at rope set ups and knot work

Day 4 - Roof edge deployment and rope rescue training
Day 5 - Assessment of skills and knowledge by an external assessor.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
Outdoor clothing suitable for time of year. This could include waterproof trousers, a sturdy jacket, a hat (beanies available in on-site shop), thin leather gloves (also available in on-site shop)
Climbing specific hardware and personal protective equipment will be provided by Xi Training Ltd. If you prefer to use your own PPE kit during the sessions, all we ask is that we are able to see evidence of appropriate certificates of conformity and inspection records.
