Course 121 - RTITB INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES COURSE

• Select and use appropriate training methods
• Manage trainee practice time
• Complete a skills analysis
• Use questions effectively.

This qualification is designed for candidates who use or supervise people who use power tools.

• Other relevant Regulations
• Introduction to power tools
• Causes of injury and damage
• Risk Assessments
• Hand / Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS)
• Personal Protective Equipment
• Inspections of hand operated power tools
• Safe operation of hand operated power tools

Highly participative with demonstrations highlighted by use of PowerPoint and Videos along with group and individual exercises.

2 days + depending upon number of power tools requiring certification (maximum 3 power tools per day).

Eligible companies may be able to claim grants toward their Training as this course is CITB approved for grant purposes.

City and Guilds Certification itemising power tools trained on, Theory & Practical, Attendance, Awareness.
