If the worst ever happened at sea and you had to abandon your boat, would you know what to do? Our RYA MCA Sea Survival training course assumes the worst case scenario: that you have to abandon your yacht or ship. The Sea Survival course equips students with a grounding in core safety and survival techniques with some practical, hands-on demonstrations. Sea Survival Training is aimed at leisure yachtsmen and power-boaters as well as paid crew on vessels up to 3000GT. The RYA / MCA Sea Survival course is very popular among leisure and professional sailors and power-boaters and can be used as day 1 of the ISAF/World Sailing Offshore Personal Survival Course, which is required by offshore race crews competing in events such as the RORC Fastnet, AZAB, ARC, RBI and Sydney Hobart race.
