The SAFEadult team is drawn from an extensive range of over thirty professionals who are adult protection experts within their own fields e.g. police, social care services, health, victim support and advocacy.

The CEO of SAFEadult is Rosie Carter, who is an acknowledged expert in the field of safeguarding.

Description

SAFEadult offers a range of training solutions including online, face-to-face, bespoke and blended adult protection courses for anyone who works directly or indirectly with vulnerable adults. Developed in-house, they are in line with the latest government legislation and guidance and are fully compliant with local Adult Safeguarding Board (ASB) requirements.

Our face-to-face adult protection trainers are all experienced social workers, teachers or former police officers, who are adult protection practitioners and experts in their respective fields. This wealth of experience and knowledge allows them to introduce real life scenarios and issues of adult protection best practice to reinforce the learning taking place.

Our current range of courses includes:

Introduction To Adult Safeguarding:

A comprehensive adult protection training course specifically designed for anyone who comes into contact with adults. It is compliant with local ASB requirements and covers legislation and guidance, the recognition of adult abuse, how to respond to concerns and safer working practices.

Leading On Adult Safeguarding:

An adult protection training course specifically developed for the nominated adult safeguarding lead and deputy, who have already completed an Introduction course. It is compliant with local ASB requirements and covers adult protection policies and other vital procedures, identifying concerns, making referrals, handling allegations and complaints; alongside managing E-Safety.

Rigorous Recruitment And Best Practice:

An in depth face-to-face adult protection course for all managers and recruiters, to consider adult protection best practice with regards to staff recruitment, induction and supervision. It is compliant with ASB recruitment requirements

E-Safety:

An in-depth face-to-face adult protection course for vulnerable adults, their carers, guardians and parents. It considers the dangers of the Internet and what steps can be put in place to keep vulnerable adults safe.
