This course is designed to limit the risks of injury to those physically caring for people. The course is designed to identify best practice and correct technique and the underpinning requirement through Legislation and Regulations.

· Wheelchair use and problem solving

· Practical demonstration of safe practices

· Slide sheets, rolling, slide boards, handling belts, assisted standing and sitting
