School Drumming

Introduction

Workshops start by getting the children to do a few stretching exercises to relax the muscles of the arms. Then a description of the drums and percussion that will be used is given.

Following on, the children are introduced to hand drumming techniques in a way they can relate to (Stories and games are normally used)

Finally, they get to make up different rhythms under our supervision and guidance. So far, this has been a fun experience for the children and their teachers.

• Drumming Circles. - A healthy forum

Week long events
Ideal for school activity weeks or summer programs. Workshops also fit in to other weekly programs as a form of entertainment for both pupils and teaching staff.
