Description
Aberdeen offers exciting opportunities for studying Biological Science courses that include Biology, Zoology, Marine Biology, Conservation Biology, Tropical Environmental Science and many other related topics. We are renowned for our focus on "whole organism" biology. Our modern teaching laboratories in Aberdeen are complemented by Field Stations in Sutherland, the Black Isle and at the Ythan Estuary, that provide students with access to some of Scotland's most spectacular environments. With our student exchange programmes, student-led expeditions and active research in habitats from the deep ocean to tropical rainforests, we offer students unique opportunities to study under- and over-seas for part of their course. We give students great flexibility to choose from a wide range of courses and so to tailor their degrees to their main interests. Our main degrees in Zoology, Marine Biology and Biology are complemented by focussed degrees across the spectrum of modern biology.
