In this course you will learn how to take greater control over your self-care so that you can live a healthier and more balanced life. Discover different ways to attend to yourself more fully so that you can feel more at ease, grounded and alive in everyday life. Explore mindful movement to ease tension and improve body awareness, mobility, breathing and quality of life or sleep. You will also have the opportunity to practise some short and guided mindfulness meditations to cultivate calmness, clarity and self-compassion. Besides that there will be some short presentations on related topics.

About this course
- Identify ways to develop and maintain your own self-care ritual or practice to restore your emotional and physical wellbeing.- Explore movements to reduce unnecessary effort and tension and find more efficient ways of moving.- Recognise and cultivate self-awareness and inner wisdom.- Identify ways to boost energy levels and immune system.- Practice some short guided meditations to ease stress and bring more kindness to yourself.
•There are no examinations, materials or extra costs. Loose and comfortable clothing is the best thing to wear.

This course is practical and involves guided movements and meditations, short presentations and video clips, interactive games, self observation, inquiry, discussions and small group or pair work. Suggestions for home practice will be given but there is no pressure to participate.
