This course is for training to be a Ship Security Officer in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code.

This course has been developed closely with the UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency. The course covers how to co-ordinate the development and implementation of the Ship Security Plan, including maintenance, and modifications.

The course covers Best Management Practises for Somali based piracy, and covers maritime threats such as terrorism, piracy and drugs trafficking.

The course is essential for those wishing to become a Ship Security Officer. Training is delivered by former Royal Marines Commando instructors and on completion you will receive an internationally recognised certificate.
