As you need to be mentoring at the start of the programme, you will already be doing these tasks and you will need to provide evidence of these in the form of a portfolio. The programme is interactive and you will be expected to engage critically and reflectively with the learning.

This is a level 7 programme, which is equivalent to postgraduate level study. Assessment is by coursework and there is no exam.
The assignment focuses on an exploration of coaching and mentoring approaches as applied to an authentic context and you will draw on theoretical frameworks and background reading to support your ideas. You will also need to submit a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate that you have engaged in mentoring someone in your organisation. The portfolio can include a range of evidence such as observation reports, minutes of meetings, records of professional discussions and records of target-setting.
