This course is suitable for hairdressers who hold an NVQ/VRQ Level 2 in Hairdressing or those who with 1 years cutting experience who want to progress their skills in short hair cuts.

What do I need to know before I start the course?

Minimum of 1 year cutting experience or NVQ/VRQ Hairdressing Level 2 or equivalent, bring proof of qualifications. Students must be 18+. Either provide a model (to arrive at 2.30pm) or bring a 16 inch training head. Models must be 18+. Please wear comfortable clothing, closed toed shoes & minimal jewellery. We recommend you bring lunch.

Will I need to bring any materials?

Please bring the following:

scissors, combs, basic styling kit with hairdryer, brushes and clips. If not bringing a model, please bring a 16 inch training head.
