Course programme

A range of classic and contemporary short stories written in English. During the session we will discuss the short stories in question by considering various aspects such as context, ideas, plot, character/s, etc. We will also discuss how successful we think the authors have been in the particular work.

In each session there will be a brief introduction by the tutor followed by an informal but focused discussion of the selected short stories for that session. THE TUTOR: Linda Quinn is a writer and teacher and has also worked as an actress and theatre director. She now writes scripts for performance, and is also in the process of completing her first novel and a collection of short stories.
