Course programme

Slinger / Signaller The course is a morning theory session and an afternoon of practical exercises.

Course Content
  • Assessment of the load (weight and dimension)
  • Selection of appropriate lifting equipment
  • Slinging and moving the load
  • Communicating instructions by hand signals
  • Inspection procedures and record keeping
  • Storage of equipment
Maximum of 4 trainees per course.
(A novice will need 4 days training where as an experienced operator will only need 1 day).

Trainees need to be medically fit and have the stature to be able to handle any lifting equipment required.
