Spanish - Level 1
A course for complete beginners. By the end of Level 1, students will be able to order food and drink, get a ticket for a show, book a train seat or hotel room, and ask directions in Spanish. You'll be able to talk a bit about your plans and exchange personal details with Spanish friends. In addition, you will have learned something about
the culture of the most popular holiday destination for Scots!

All students will be entered for the SQA Language Unit: Spanish ED37 09. If you're nervous about exams, don't worry: assessments for this unit should be well within your capabilities and will be fully integrated into normal classroom activities; you will hardly be aware that they are taking place!
