About this course
This course provides a one-year, work-based top-up route to BA(Hons) Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Practice.You gain the knowledge and skills required by practitioners working towards:
removing barriers to participation, learning and play; and
enabling inclusion within settings and the community.

On successful completion of the course, you will have a clear progression route towards Early Years Initial Teacher training leading to Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - and postgraduate studies within allied careers, subject to the eligibility requirements for these courses.

You will have the opportunity to study a foreign language, free of charge, during your time at the University on a not-for-credit basis as part of the Kingston Language Scheme. Options currently include: Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
