Course Details

This course is for young people in School Years 8-11 (or equivalent if home-schooled).

Spectacular make-up and dramatic special effects can transform a production. This introductory course will give you an insight into the skills needed to play a key creative role in performance, fashion, film and television. The make-up artist is an important member of any production team and this practical course will show you the basic skills needed to create realistic special effects make up.

An experienced tutor will guide students through the stages of creating fabulous effects and you will be working in our amazing studio spaces that have been home to our award-winning graduates, using tools and equipment that the creative industries rely on and become a part of our creative community.
