Ashton Community Trust Employment and Training Services have worked with JMD Training for a few years to provide our unemployed clients with the skills and qualifications needed to help them gain employment. JMD training have always provided an excellent service and have always met the needs and requirements of the organisation. I was looking for a career change and had no prior experience in the accounting field. After looking at various courses and training providers I decided to go with the Accounting Technician Diploma provided by Pitman Training, as it also covered the content for AAT Level 2. The audio based material meant I could learn at my own pace, and the presence of a tutor provided the advantage of classroom learning. The flexibility offered by this course suited my circumstances, and the tutors were always available and willing to answer any questions I had regarding the subject matter. Having gained both the Pitman Diploma and AAT Level 2 certificate, I am currently on a work placement to gain experience and apply what I have learnt. I believe this will provide me with a solid foundation on which to build a career in Accounting.
I would sincerely like to thank all the staff at Pitman Training Wembley for their assistance and kind support given throughout the course, and would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to improve their skills and knowledge.

I was looking for a career change and had no prior experience in the accounting field.
