STATISTICA Visual Basic

STATISTICA is unique amongst all of its competitors in including a fully compatible version of Visual Basic designed specifically for the most demanding statistical and graphical applications.
This course introduces participants to programming for automation and customisation using SVB and assumes some knowledge of general programming principles. The second day of this course includes the opportunity to start work on a programming project of your own, under the supervision of the course tutor.

* General conventions (VB syntax, the SVB editor, Object Browser, debugging tools)
* Working with macros (recording, editing, customising & running)
* Customising toolbars and menus
* Creating custom dialogs
* Customising output (workbooks, reports, graphs, spreadsheets)
* Integration with Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
* Using event macros
